The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 5, 2020 SPR20/0450 William J. Doyle, Esq. Massachusetts Department of Transpmiation 10 Park Plaza, Suite 3910 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Doyle: I have received the petition of Heather Miller, Esq. appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department ofTranspmiation (MassDOT) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R, 32.08(1). Attorney Miller requested several records in MassDOT's possession. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Attorney Miller petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Attorney Miller's request with a response sent on March 4, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of MassDOT's lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. The requestor may appeal the substantive nature ofMassDOT's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Heather Miller, Esq.
