G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Swinson requested documents pertaining to school officials dates of appointment and their respective certifications for ethics, conflict of interest and open meeting law. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Swinson petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal and communication from a staff member of the Public Records Division, it remains unclear whether the District has provided a response. As such, the District is ordered to provide Mr. Swinson with a written response. Said response shall be made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order as soon as practicable. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Swinson may appeal the substantive nature of the District’s response within ninety days.
