Murray Supervisor of Records March 30, 2020 SPR20/0543 Kim Gouveia Public Records Access Officer Middlesex District Attorney’s Office 15 Commonwealth Avenue Woburn, MA 01801 Dear Ms. Gouveia: I have received the petition of Alfredo Companioni appealing the response of the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § l0A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on December 23, 2019, Mr. Companioni requested, “the address of a [named] correctional officer” Based upon a conversation between a Public Records Division staff attorney and the Office, it is my understanding that the Department intends on providing a subsequent response to Mr. Companioni to address the concerns raised in the appeal. Accordingly, the Office is ordered to provide Mr. Companioni with a response to his request in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within 10 business days or as soon as is practicable. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Companioni may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days.
