Office of the Attorney General One Ashburton Place, 18th Floor Boston, MA 02108 Dear Attorney Tarrow: I have received the petition of Sarah W. appealing the nonresponse of the Office of the Attorney General (Office) to her request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. W requested several records from the Office regarding two certain individuals. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. W petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal and communication from a staff member of the Public Records Division, it remains unclear whether the Office has provided a response. As such, the Office is to provide Ms. W with a written response. Said response shall be made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order as soon as practicable. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. W may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety days.
