The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 14, 2020 SPR20/0779 Sonia L. Skinner, Esq. MBTA Law Department 10 Park Plaza, Suite 7760 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Skinner: I have received the petition of Rothamanthos Kidonakis appealing the nonresponse of Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (Authority) to requests for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Kidonakis submitted a request for records within the possession of the Authority relating to certain email correspondences pertaining to the Longfellow Bridge rehabilitation project. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Kidonakis petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Authority intends on providing written responses to Mr. Kidonakis to his respective request. Accordingly, the Authority is ordered to provide Mr. Kidonakis with responsive records on a rolling basis made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order as soon as practicable. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of each response to this to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Kidonakis may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority’s responses within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
