G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on May 6, 2020, Mr. DeLacey requested the following records related to the topics discussed at the City Council meeting dated May 5, 2020: • Minutes of all personnel/appointments committee meetings for calendar year 2019 and 2020 (only one (1) meeting of twenty (20) has minutes on Legistar); • All cover letters and resumes received by lcagno@cityofmalden.ort, or any city official, in response to the city’s call for CPC applicants issued July 23, 2019 (see attached image of announcement); • All email correspondence created by, or received by, Councilor Peg Crowe, with any CPC applicant; • All email correspondence between Councilor Peg Crowe and any other city official, including past or present members of the Community Preservation Committee, related to the July 23, 2019 CPC “call for applicants”. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. DeLacey petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR20/0829, was opened as a result. I understand the City has been made aware of this request but has yet to provide a response to Mr. DeLacey’s request. Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Mr. DeLacey with said response as soon as practicable.
