The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records June 19, 2020 SPR20/0895 Nancy Baker Assistant Town Manager Town of Dedham 26 Bryant Street Dedham, MA 02026 Dear Ms. Baker: I have received the petition of Brian Keaney appealing the nonresponse of the Dedham Board of Selectmen (Board) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Keaney requested several meetings’ executive session minutes. Claiming to not yet have received a response, he petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Board responded to Mr. Keaney’s request in writing. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Board’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. The requestor may appeal the substantive nature of the Board’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
