Massachusetts Parole Board 12 Mercer Road Natick, MA 01760 Dear Attorney Walsh: I have received the petition of Howard Brown appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Parole Board (Board) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Brown requested records regarding a certain identified advisory ruling. Having received no response, Mr. Brown petitioned this office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated June 10, 2019. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Board’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Brown may appeal the substantive nature of the Board’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
