The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records June 29, 2020 SPR20/0953 Stacy Book Primary Records Access Officer Massachusetts Parole Board 12 Mercer Road Natick, MA 01760 Dear Ms. Book: I have received the petition of Mr. Joseph Severino appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Parole Board (Board) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on May 15, 2020, Mr. Severino requested copies of two documents contained in his file. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr.Severino petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Board provided a response with respect to Mr. Severino’s request on June 29, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the lack of response by the Board, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Severino may appeal the substantive nature of the Board’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
