Department of Criminal Justice Information Services 200 Arlington St., Suite 2200 Chelsea, MA 02150 Dear Attorney Koulouris: I have received the petition of Jenn Bussell appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Criminal Justice Information Services (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Bussell requested copies of a an identified firearms license and registration. Having received no response, Ms. Bussell petitioned this office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated June 22, 2020. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Bussell may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
