Rousseau appealing the response of the Fall River Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on May 11, 2020, Mr. Rousseau requested, “a copy of any internal affairs reports, records, and associated information/paperwork, rap-sheet, master-sheet and any other internal history identifier/records in relation to [a named] [o]fficer.” On June 9, 2020, the Department provided a fee estimate of $135.26. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Rousseau appealed and SP20/0985 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff attorney of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Rousseau’s request with a subsequent response sent on June 23, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s June 9th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
