Murray Supervisor of Records July 20, 2020 SPR20/1091 Arielle Mullaney Executive Office of Safety and Security One Ashburton Place Boston, MA 02108 Dear Attorney Mullaney: I have received the petition of Vernal Coleman appealing the nonresponse of the Executive Office of Safety and Security (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Coleman requested copies of a contract signed in April 2020 by the Parole Board. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Office provided Mr. Coleman a response to his request. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Vernal Coleman may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
