The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records July 28, 2020 SPR20/1183 Lt. Douglas DeCosta Falmouth Police Department 750 Main Street Falmouth, MA 02540 Dear Lt. DeCosta: I have received the petition of Alyssa Ardizzoni appealing the nonresponse of the Falmouth Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Ardizzoni requested a copy of any 911 recordings and call logs as it relates to an identified motor vehicle accident. Having received no response, Ms. Ardizzoni petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated July 16, 2020. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Ardizzoni may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
