Murray Supervisor of Records July 30, 2020 SPR20/1195 Tara Ward Town Clerk Town of Ashland 101 Main Street, 1st Floor Ashland, MA 01721 Dear Ms. Ward: I have received the petition of Stephen J. Morgan appealing the response of the Town of Ashland (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Morgan requested “town resident emails,” discussed in affordable housing meetings. Previous Appeal This request is the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR20/1076 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (July 16, 2020). In my July 16th Determination, I found the Town provided Mr. Morgan with a response on July 6, 2020. Whereas the Town had sent Mr. Morgan response addressing his request, I considered the appeal closed. Unsatisfied with the July 6th response provided by the Town, Mr. Morgan petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR20/1195, was opened as a result. Conclusion On July 20, 2020, Attorney Kate Feodoroff of Mead, Talerman & Costa, LLC sent this office an email on behalf of the Town indicating they forwarded Mr. Morgan emails responsive to his request.
