Murray Supervisor of Records August 24, 2020 SPR20/1335 James Ross Lawrence Community Access Television 468 Essex Street Lawrence, MA 01840 Dear Mr. Ross: I have received the petition of Dalia Diaz appealing the nonresponse of the Lawrence Community Access Television (LCAT) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Diaz requested the following twelve (12) categories of records regarding the recent hiring of the Executive Director, within the possession of LCAT: • Copy of job posting for the position of Executive Director that was recently filled • Copies of all the advertisements for the Executive Director position that was recently filled • Copies of received applications and resumes of candidates for the Executive Director position that was recently filled • The names of interviewing committee for Executive Director position interviews • The names of candidates invited to interview for the Executive Director position • Scores for all interviewed candidates for the Executive Director position • Any and all notes taken regarding the candidates that interviewed for the Executive Director position • Meeting minutes of the boards meeting for the last five (5) meetings, including meeting to approve the recently selected individuals for Executive Director • Any reference checks of final candidates for the position of Executive Director • Administrative staff and instructions manual for the selection process • The name of the person selected for hire, their resume submitted in application, education and experience history, and starting salary upon hire in the Executive Director position • The name of the person(s) making the final hire decision, their title, salary history, education, and experience/resume. It is my understanding a representative of LCAT provided a response dated August 19, 2020. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
