The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records August 24, 2020 SPR20/1365 Kathleen Lentini Records Access Officer Town of Natick 13 East Central Street Natick, MA 01760 Dear Ms. Lentini: I have received the petition of Corey Spaulding appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Natick to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on July 19, 2020, Ms. Spaulding requested records of “any and all public records requests made by Corey Spaulding to the Town of Natick,” within the possession of the Town. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Spaulding petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR20/1365, was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal by a staff member of the Public Records Division, the Town has yet to provide a response with respect to Ms. Spaulding’s July 19, 2020 request. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Ms. Spaulding with said response in compliance with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations as soon as is practicable. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Spaulding may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
