The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records August 26, 2020 SPR20/1416 Suzanne McCormick-deBoer Town of Brookline Public Schools Department 333 Washington Street Brookline, MA 02445 Dear Ms. McCormick-deBoer: I have received the petition of Lisa Scher appealing the nonresponse of the Brookline Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Scher requested several categories of records within the possession of the School. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Scher petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the request for an appeal, I learned that the School responded to Ms. Scher’s request with a response sent on August 25, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Scher may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
