The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records August 24, 2020 SPR20/1442 Stephanie Carrara Town of Stoughton 10 Pearl Street Stoughton, MA 02072 Dear Ms. Carrara: I have received the petition of Mr. Benjamin Breke appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Stoughton (Town) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Berke submitted a request for records related to a court case within the possession of the Town. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Burke petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated August 22, 2020. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Town’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Berke may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
