The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records September 21, 2020 SPR20/1597 Debra Cabral City of Fall River Fall River Public Schools 417 Rock Street Fall River, MA 02720 Dear Ms. Cabral: I have received the petition of Marion J. King appealing the response of the City of Fall River Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. King requested “Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Letter of Finding for complaint PRS0003776, redacted of any confidential information.” The School responded on September 5, 2020. Unsatisfied with the School’s response, Ms. King petitioned this office, and SPR20/1597 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, Attorney Kelsey M. Porcello of Nuttall, MacAvoy & Joyce, P.C., provided a response to this office on behalf of the School indicating the responsive record had been provided to Ms. King on September 8, 2020. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. King may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Marion J. King Kelsey M. Porcello, Esq.
