G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on August 17, 2020, Mr. Ainooson requested: “A) The complete evidence index(es) in the matter of case file Com. v. Ainooson and all other related case files. This evidence index(es) should include (but not limited to) a listing of: 1. all statements collected, recorded, written and/or typed; 2. all physical, material and/or documented evidence; 3. all officers, assisting agencies and prosecutorial notes, sketches, etc.; 4. all audio and/or video evidence; 5. all tests conducted; 6. all investigative reports; and 7. information of .all officers, agents (including their agencies) and prosecutors involved with the investigation (including information from what department and/or agency each individual is from). B) A listing of all agencies who helped and/or assisted with the investigation and/or case (including the trial itself) in the matter of Com. v. Ainooson and all other related case files and/or matters.” Based upon a conversation between a Public Records Division staff attorney and an Office representative, it is my understanding that the Office intends on providing a subsequent response to Mr. Ainooson to address his concerns. Accordingly, the Office is ordered to provide Mr. Ainooson with a response to his request in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within 10 business days.
