Records Access Officer Hampden County District Attorney’s Office 50 State Street Springfield, MA 01102 Dear Attorney Pieropan: I have received the petition of Wayne Napolitano appealing the nonresponse of the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Mr. Napolitano requested several records in the Office’s possession related to records of defendants. Claiming to have not yet received a response, he petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Office responded to Mr. Napolitano’s request in writing. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Office’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
