The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records October 26, 2020 SPR20/1944 Kathy Lentini Town of Natick 13 East Central Street, 1st Floor Natick, MA 01760 Dear Ms. Lentini: I have received the petition of Ronald Alexander appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Natick (Town) to his requests for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Alexander requested the vacation and expense records for an identified town official. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Alexander petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal and communication from a staff member of the Public Records Division, it remains unclear whether the Town has provided a response. As such, the Town is ordered to provide Mr. Alexander with a written response. Said response must be made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within 10 business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Alexander may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
