G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on September 11, 2020, Mr. Fountain requested various communications and employment related records. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Fountain petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR20/1992, was opened as a result. A representative of the City notified a staff member of the Public Records Division that the City intends on providing a response to Mr. Fountain’s September 11, 2020 request. Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Mr. Fountain with said response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten (10) business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Fountain may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days.
