G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Goscila submitted a request for “all police reports regarding Civilian Complaints for Police Officers between the dates of January 1, 2016 and September 11, 2020” within the possession of the Town. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Goscila petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. I learned that a representative from the Town intends on providing a written response to Mr. Goscila to his respective request. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Mr. Goscila with a response made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within 10 business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
