The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 18, 2020 SPR20/2130 Shawn A. Williams, Esq. Director of Public Records City of Boston One City Hall Square Boston, MA 02201 Dear Attorney Williams: I have received the petition of Gerry Mroz appealing the response of the City of Boston (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on October 16, 2020, Mr. Mroz requested “…an electronic copy of the report produced pursuant to a study of the Boston Public Schools' Education for All Initiative.” The City provided a response on October 27, 2020, withholding the responsive record pursuant to Exemption (d). Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Mr. Mroz petitioned this office, and SPR20/2130 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the City provided the responsive record to Mr. Mroz on November 4, 2020. In light of the responsive record being provided to Mr. Mroz by the City, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
