Powers City Clerk City of Northampton 210 Main Street, Room 4 Northampton, MA 01060-3148 Dear Ms. Powers: I have received the petition of Dale Barrington appealing the nonresponse of the City of Northampton (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Barrington requested “any and all e-mails to and from staff and board members regarding VFW Post 8006 between 10/15/2020 and 10/29/2020.” Having received no response, Mr. Barrington petitioned our office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the City provided a response on November 18, 2020. In light of this response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Barrington may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
