The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records December 1, 2020 SPR20/2255 Jay Mazzola Director of Operations Metro North Regional Emergency Communication Center 400 Revere Beach Pkwy. Revere, MA 02151 Dear Mr. Mazzola: I have received the petition of Adrienne Javery appealing the response of the Metro North Regional Emergency Communication Center (Center) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on October 12, 2020, Ms. Javery requested “[a]ny and all information with the name Adrienne Javery on it…from March 30, 2017 to October 30, 2020.” The Center provided a response on October 28, 2020, which included a fee estimate. Ms. Javery sent a check on October 30, 2020. Claiming to have not received the responsive records, Ms. Javery petitioned this office, and SPR20/2255, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention of a staff attorney, the Center indicated they provided a response, including responsive records to Ms. Javery, on November 23, 2020. In light of this response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Ms. Javery may appeal the substantive nature of the Center’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
