The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records December 7, 2020 SPR20/2289 Margarita Bardales Public Records Access Officer Massachusetts Port Authority One Harborside Drive, Suite 200S East Boston, MA 02128 Dear Ms. Bardales: I have received the petition of Ms. Cindy L. Christiansen appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Port Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on October 21, 2020, Ms. Christiansen requested “records about the ‘strict noise abatement procedures’ for approaches to Runway 4L.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Christiansen petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Authority provided Ms. Christiansen with a response to her request dated November 24, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Authority’s lack of response to Ms. Christiansen’s request, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Christiansen may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Ms. Cindy L.
