The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records December 9, 2020 SPR20/2309 Alicia Palmer City of Medford Public Schools 85 George P. Hasset Drive Medford, MA 02155 Dear Ms. Palmer: I have received the petition of Maureen Ronayne appealing the response of the Medford Public Schools (School) to her request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on October 1, 2020, Ms. Ronayne requested the following records: “-… the email conversion that includes [an unnamed person] and was sent to the administration during the 2019-2020 about reading. The gist is that the reading instruction is not working. . . .” Previous appeal I learned that the School responded to Ms. Ronayne’s request with a subsequent response sent on December 9, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s November 19, 2020 response I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Ronayne may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
