The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records December 9, 2020 SPR20/2317 Denise J. Karlin Assistant General Counsel Department of Early Education and Care 51 Sleeper Street, Fourth Floor Boston, MA 02210 Dear Attorney Karlin: I have received the petition of Lisa Morris appealing the response of the Department of Early Education and Care (Department/EEC) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on October 2, 2020, Ms. Morris requested “contracts with Aim & Arrow and Guidehouse and the contact information.” The Department provided a response on October 20, 2020, including responsive records redacted pursuant to Exemption (c). Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Ms. Morris petitioned this office, and SPR20/2317, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Department emailed this office on December 9, 2020 indicating a copy of unredacted records were provided to Ms. Morris on December 7, 2020. In light of the unredacted records being provided to Ms. Morris by the Department, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
