Spofford, CMMC Town Clerk Town of Townsend 272 Main Street Townsend, MA 01469 Dear Ms. Spofford: I have received the petition of Ms. Joan Savoy appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Townsend (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on November 5, 2020, Ms. Savoy requested “the approved Conservation Commission meeting minutes from 9/17/20.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Savoy petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Town provided Ms. Savoy with a response to her request dated November 30, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of response to Ms. Savoy’s request, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Savoy may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
