Department of Developmental Services 500 Harrison Avenue Boston, MA 02118 Dear Attorney Bergeron: I have received the petition of Wayne Willis appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Developmental Services (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Willis requested several categories of records within the possession of the Department. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Willis petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the request for an appeal, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Willis’ request with two responses sent on June 29 and October 29, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Willis may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
