The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records December 15, 2020 SPR20/2385 Jay Mazzola Director of Operations Metro North Regional Emergency Communication Center 400 Revere Beach Pkwy. Revere, MA 02151 Dear Mr. Mazzola: I have received the petition of Adrienne Javery appealing the response of the Metro North Regional Emergency Communication Center (Center) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on October 14, 2020, Ms. Javery requested two categories of records: “1. Any and all information with the name Adrienne Javery on it [created during the period of March 30, 2017 to October 30, 2020]; and 2. Any information relative to Adrienne Javery’s medical conditions, requests for these records, plan of payment for Adrienne Javery medicals that were agreed upon by the MNRECC and Adrienne Javery by the Department of Industrial Accidents.” The Center provided a response on November 23, 2020, which included responsive records. The Center also indicated they were withholding responsive records to request number two (2) pursuant to Exemption (c). Unsatisfied with the Center’s response, Ms. Javery petitioned this office, and SPR20/2385 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Center provided a supplemental response on December 11, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us Jay Mazzola SPR20/2385 Page 2 December 15, 2020 November 23rd response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
