Stone City of Springfield Police Department 130 Pearl Street Springfield, MA 01105 Dear Ms. Stone: I have received the petition of Taylor S. Lavallee, Esq. appealing the nonresponse of the Springfield Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Lavallee requested all records pertaining to a certain investigation within the possession of the Department. Said response must be made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
