The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records December 21, 2020 SPR20/2459 Ms. Bonnie Roalsen Woburn Public Library 45 Pleasant Street Woburn, MA 01801 Dear Ms. Bonnie Roalsen: I have received the petition of Ms. Jasmine Parthasarathy appealing the nonresponse of the Woburn Public Library (Library) to her request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Parthasarathy submitted a request for the “ [a]ll communications, including attachments, from any member of the WPL Trustees…to any other member of the WPL Trustees from Jan 1, 2020-present.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Parthasarathy petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Library intends on providing a written response to Ms. Parthasarathy to her respective request. Accordingly, the Library is ordered to provide Ms. Parthasarathy with a response made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within 10 business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Parthasarathy may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
