The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records December 23, 2020 SPR20/2518 Lieutenant John M. Azzari Revere Police Department 400 Revere Beach Parkway Revere, MA 02151 Dear Lieutenant Azzari: I have received the petition of Stacey Marmor, Esq. appealing the nonresponse of the Revere Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Marmor requested several categories of records pertaining to a specific case within the possession of the Department. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Attorney Marmor petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the request for an appeal, I learned that the Department responded to Attorney Marmor’s request with a response sent on December 21, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Marmor may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
