Murray Supervisor of Records January 6, 2021 SPR20/2542 George Zachos Board of Registration in Medicine Legal Division 200 Harvard Mill Square, Suite 330 Wakefield, MA 01880 Dear Mr. Zachos: I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the response of the Board of Registration in Medicine (Board) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on December 4, 2020, Mr. Herman requested the Board’s file on an identified physician. In a December 18, 2020 letter, Tara R. Douglas, Assistant General Counsel at the Board, informed Mr. Herman that the Board expected to issue a production of the responsive records on or before January 5, 2021. It is unclear whether the Board has provided the response. Conclusion Accordingly, the Board is ordered to provide Mr. Herman with a response within five (5) business days. Mr. Herman may appeal the substantive nature of the response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Accordingly, I will consider this appeal closed. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
