The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records December 28, 2020 SPR20/2546 Shawn A Williams, Esq. Director of Public Records City of Boston 1 City Hall Sqaure, Room 615 Boston, MA 02201 Dear Attorney Williams: I have received the petition of Casley Bailey appealing the nonresponse of the City of Boston (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Bailey requested several categories of records within the possession of the City. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Bailey petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the request for an appeal, I learned that the City responded to Ms. Bailey’s request with a response sent on December 17, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Bailey may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
