The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records January 7, 2021 SPR20/2562 Robert Rufo Chief of Police City of Woburn Police Department 25 Harrison Avenue Woburn, MA 01801 Dear Chief Rufo: I have received the petition of Patrick J. Mason appealing the response of the City of Woburn Police Department (Department) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on December 5, 2020, Mr. Mason requested the following records: “All reports filed by Officer Lally and any other Officers who provided a written report. Witness statements. Operators Reports. Citations. 911 Calls and Radio transmissions. Dispatch Log. Photography’s. Video Surveillance obtained.” Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Mason petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR20/2562, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, the Department provided Mr. Mason a supplemental response to his request on December 23, 2020. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as result of the Department’s initial response I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mason may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s supplemental response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
