The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records January 5, 2021 SPR20/2564 Rachel M. Cohen Primary RAO Department of Environmental Protection Southeast Regional Office 20 Riverside Drive Lakeville, MA 02347 Dear Ms. Cohen: I have received the petition of Anita Galleti appealing the response of the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on November 23, 2020, Ms. Galleti requested, “… all public records associated with [named address] [in] Plymouth … between 1/1/20 and 11/20/20.” Unsatisfied with the response, Ms. Galleti appealed and SPR20/2564 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff attorney of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Ms. Galleti’s request with a further response sent on January 5, 2020. Ms. Galleti has confirmed receipt. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s December 22nd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Galleti may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
