The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records January 7, 2021 SPR20/2593 Seah Levy Public Records Access Officer City of Cambridge Law Department 795 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA 02139 Dear Ms. Levy: I have received the petition of Kenneth B. Krohn, Ph.D., J.D. appealing the response of the City of Cambridge (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § l0A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on October 16, 2020, Dr. Krohn amended his initial request to request the following records: “(1) the street address of each Affordable Dwelling Unit created by a private developer who executed a corresponding covenant of the type specified in subsection 11.203.4(b) which was recorded in the Middlesex (South) Registry of Deeds; and (2) the street address of each Affordable Dwelling Unit which has been sold under the supervision of the Community Development Department to an eligible low or moderate income beneficiary who executed a corresponding covenant of the type specified in subsection 11.203.4(b) which was recorded in the Middlesex (South) Registry of Deeds.” Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Dr. Krohn petitioned this office and SPR20/2593 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff attorney of the Public Records Division, I learned that City responded to Dr. Krohn’s request with a response sent on January 6, 2021. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of City’s October 22nd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Dr. Krohn may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
