The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records January 26, 2021 SPR21/0099 Michael Doheny, Esq. Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development One Ashburton Place, Suite 2112 Boston, MA 02108 Dear Attorney Doheny: I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the nonresponse of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Mr. Herman requested all records that deal with the number of individuals in the Massachusetts workforce segmented by race/ethnicity. Having received no response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office. Subsequently, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated January 19, 2021. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Office’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Herman may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
