Parthasarathy appealing the response of the City of Woburn Public Library (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Parthasarathy requested: 1. All business-related emails to and from [an identified email address], including but not limited to emails to and from the following: Rebecca Meehan, WPL Trustees; John Boit; and Bonnie Roalsen (work accounts); 2. All business-related emails to and from [an identified email address], including but not limited to emails to and from the following: Bonnie Roalsen, WPL Trustees, John Boit, and Rebecca Meehan (work accounts). In a January 15, 2021 email to this office, Ms. Parthasarathy indicated, “[t]he substance of the appeal is not a failure to respond; they provided a response that I believe to be inaccurate (they say there are not responsive documents, but I have discovered some responsive documents through alternative means).” As a result of the City’s response and production of email documents, Ms. Parthasarathy petitioned the Supervisor, and this appeal was opened. Conclusion After this appeal was opened, the City provided January 22nd and January 25th responses to Ms. Parthasarathy regarding her request. If outstanding issues remain, Ms. Parthasarathy may appeal the substantive nature of the responses within 90 calendar days. 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
