Murray Supervisor of Records February 2, 2021 SPR21/0135 Carla Vitale Town of Winthrop One Metcalf Square Winthrop, MA 02152 Dear Ms. Vitale: I have received the petition of Josh Castellano appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Winthrop (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Castellano requested “copies of building permits, inspection sign- offs, certificates of occupancies, and as-built plans for a specific address.” Subsequently, I learned that the Town intends to provide Mr. Castellano a response to his request. The Town is ordered to provide said response in accordance with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations. Mr. Castellano may appeal the substantive nature of the Town response within ninety days of receipt of the response. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
