Murray Supervisor of Records February 11, 2021 SPR21/0207 Michelle Johnson Town Clerk Town of Ashburnham 32 Main Street Ashburnham, MA 01430 Dear Ms. Johnson: I have received the petition of Todd Wallack of the Boston Globe appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Ashburnham (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 29, 2020, Mr. Wallack requested “. . . an electronic copy of the municipality’s public list of registered voters, also known as the voter file.” Mr. Wallack additionally notes in his request that he is not seeking a copy of the voter history file. Claiming to not yet have received the responsive records, Mr. Wallack petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/0207, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that a representative of the Town provided a response dated February 10, 2021, with respect to Mr. Wallack’s December 29th request. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Wallack may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
