Anderson Town Clerk Town of Norwell 345 Main Street Norwell, MA 02061 Dear Ms. Anderson: I have received the petition of Mr. Todd Wallack of the Boston Globe appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Norwell (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 29, 2020, Mr. Wallack requested “[a]n electronic copy of the municipality's public list of registered voters, also known as the voter file.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Wallack petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. In an email dated February 1, 2021, Mr. Wallack stated that the Town “provided the data as well, so I wish to withdraw my request to appeal.” Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of response to Mr. Wallack’s request, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Wallack may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
