G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 29, 2020, Mr. Wallack requested, “the electronic copy of the municipality public list of registered voters, also known as the voter file.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Wallack petitioned this office and SPR21/0216 was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal and communication from a staff member of the Public Records Division, it remains unclear whether the Town has provided a response. As such, the Town is ordered to provide Mr. Wallack with a written response. Said response shall be made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Wallack may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety days.
