The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records February 22, 2021 SPR21/0308 Kathleen Lentini Communications Officer and RAO Natick Town Hall 13 East Central Street Natick MA, 01760 Dear Ms. Lentini: I have received the petition of Ronald Alexander appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Natick (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 20, 2021, Mr. Alexander requested, “...all invoices received by the Town of Natick for legal services provided in calendar year 2016, including but not limited to legal services provided by Town Counsel, Town Labor Counsel, counsels for the Public Schools, counsels for the Natick Police Department, and any other department of the Town of Natick, MA.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Alexander petitioned this office and SPR21/0308 was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal, it remains unclear whether the Town has provided a response. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Mr. Alexander with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
