The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records February 23, 2021 SPR21/0352 Debbie Bellucci Senior Director of Business Services Springfield Technical Community College One Armory Square, Suite 1 Springfield, Massachusetts 01102-9000 Dear Ms. Bellucci: I have received the petition of Bret Seferian of the Massachusetts Teachers Association appealing the nonresponse of the Springfield Technical Community College (College) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 22, 2021, Mr. Seferian requested, “… information regarding the use of funds from the federal CARES Act at Springfield Technical Community College [including] a. The amount of funding the college received for direct distribution to students. b. The amount of that funding the college has directly distributed to students. c. The amount of funding the college received not for direct distribution to students. d. The amount of that funding the college as expended. i. The ten highest expenditures of that funding e. The criteria used for expending that funding.” Subsequently, I learned that the College provided Mr. Seferian a response to his request. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Seferian may appeal the substantive nature of the College response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
