KP Law Town of Duxbury 101 Arch Street, 12th Floor Boston, MA 02110 Dear Attorney Blake: I have received the petition of Jonathan Buchman appealing the response of the Town of Duxbury (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 2, 2021, Mr. Buchman requested two categories of records related to an identified address. The Town responded on February 16, 2021, by denying the request as duplicative, citing 950 CMR 32.06(4)(f), as well as being made as solely for a commercial purpose. Unsatisfied by the Town’s response, Mr. Buchman petitioned this office, and SPR21/0409 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Town provided a supplemental response on February 26, 2021. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s February 16th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
